The Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE coolant proof caliper delivers accurate, repeatable outside dimension, inside dimension, depth and step measurements with accuracy and unrestricted speed in an ergonomic design. The caliper’s slide and jaws are constructed of hardened stainless steel and  provide an impact-resistant, easy-to-ready LCD display for durable, reliable use. The ABSOLUTE caliper can be used in workshop conditions exposed to coolant, water, dust and oil.

- Plain and basic design.- Stepped graduation face prevents dust ingress between the main scale and slider.- The small vernier face angle (14°) provides easy reading.- Can measure steps, since the end faces of the beam and slider are the zero reference point (measuring face).- Standard calipers allow four types of measurement, i.e, outside, inside, depth, and step.- Carbide-tipped jaw calipers are optimal for rough finished parts, castings, grinding stones, etc.- Decimal and fractional graduated scales (metric/inch and inch model only).

The Mitutoyo Vernier depth gage features hardened, micro-lapped measuring faces and base for improved accuracy and wear resistance. The depth gage is constructed of hardened stainless steel with a satin chrome finish for protection and easy reading. Wider extension bases (up to 450mm range models) are available if needed.
